  1. My parents were linguists who encouraged my brother and I to keep speaking French with them, especially when we were living in California where it was rare for us to have a chance to speak it outside the home. I have also learned Spanish, as well as some basic Finnish, Italian, Czech, Cree, Russian, Japanese, Indonesian, Arabic + German.

(It's cool Doodle, I appreciate the effort. Te digo gracias para tu mensaje en frances.)

  2. i think good .

but you absolutely need primary language.

they need primary language to think and understand other languages.

  3. YES. My brother is teaching his two young kids (both under 3) to speak the languages we know

    english,spanish and russian.

they seem to be taking to it easy. They use english at home as the main language but being as my sister n law is from Russia (And my mother as well) they mainly speak Russian to the babies. My dad will mainly speak spanish to them.
