  1. Mirrors...simple, but true.  For a child to watch you make the sound and for them to try after you, is fine...but for them to see how the lips, teeth, tongue, etc. move and to mimic those motions is best for young children.  Also...for really young children (2-5), you mostly work with modeling proper language in a total communication environment.

  2. this sight has free printables for letter pronunciation books, flash cards, etc. http://www.kidzone.ws/kindergarten/index...

If it's letters like 'V' you're having trouble with, try putting some carmex on their lips to increase sensitivity and awareness of the mouth, and using ice below the lower lip where the teeth should be when pernouncing a V sound.  You can also use a Q-tip to press lips into place to help them to form the mouth for sounds.

  3. Didn't you learn this in graduate school?  E-mail me. I've been a pediatric SLP for 18 years.  I can give you a few ideas.

  4. If I understand right you will be training to be a speech therapist, If this is the case they will teach you how to teach them, sometimes the easiest way to teach a child a sound is to let them feel that sound in your throat then let them try to make the same sound while feeling their throat to see if it feels the same, other sounds require you to show a child how to hold their toungue correctly. Good luck with your training.
