Teaching teen to do laundry where might I find a printable chart for sorting etc.?

  1. My mother taught us with a wooden spoon.  When we made a mistake she hit us.   Very effective.

I was taught that you wash jeans & t-shirts in one load, whites in another, towels in another, sheets in another.  And since "jeans & t-shirts" can encompass pretty much every type of fabric in my closet, pretty much anything that can be called "clothing" goes in a load together.  I've never had to deal with sorting colors, because if I tried, I'd have ten loads of ten different t-shirts.  I don't foresee your teen having to wash things other than "jeans & t-shirts", so I don't get why they'd need a fancy chart printed out, no offense.  Laundry isn't rocket science--wash it and wear it.
