Question:

Teaching the English Language to kids not from US origin?

My child came to US when he was about 2.5 years old and he will soon be 4, but he has not been able to communicate or understand when spoken to in English. He has been going to a day care a little before he turned 3, but because the student teacher ratio has been increasing ever since, he has not been able to get any special attention, and hence he has been getting more and more aggressive lately. So I was wondering if there was any association or school that catered to these kind of children and help them understand and communicate better.

  1. What language do you communicate with him in?

Try to introduce him to simple words and scentences at home. Talk to him constantly. Read lots of books. Read the same book over and over to help him familiarize with words and meaning.

It will good if you will spend more time with him and help him out rather than sending him to another school.
