Does anyone have any information regarding teaching visual arts (painting, drawing, etc) at a middle or high school or university level in English in Korea? Thanks.

  1. i'm korean myself living in the states,,, i'd suggest u teach high school or university students, they'll be serious bout their future so they'll be a lot more serious,, which means it's easier for u to teach,,, elementary or middle will just goof off

  2. For teaching visual arts, I would agree that Middle School is the wrong target group.  If you want to teach English, then Middle School or below is better than High School.  Middle School is actually a difficult period for Korean students, as I have taught that age and all the others now since 1997 and have experience with their attitudes and easily being bored with academics.

Be prepared to teach "any" subject with an understanding of English, unless you can have an interpreter in the classroom with you.  Good luck.
