Hi,

Does anyone have any experience teaching with the TALK program in Korea? Good? Bad? I've heard many conflicting things about it.

Could anyone share their experiences or what they've heard about it? Thanks!

  1. TALK, or Teach and learn in Korean, is primarily a program and it allows you to teach on a Korean government scholarship.  I personally don't have an affiliation with this program, but hear there are pros and cons.  For the most part, if accepted, you spend your time in rural areas of Korea teaching under privileged students.  Here is an excerpt:

Teach English on Korean Government Scholarship -- Name of Program: TALK (Teach and Learn in Korea ) -- Qualifications: Native English Speaker (Undergraduate, graduate, post- graduate students) -- Benefits: - Round Trip Airfare - Accommodations - Allowance ($1,500 per month)
