No such thing as a teacup chi. Chihuahua are to be under 6lbs. There are two classes of Chis Long and Short coated. That's it

If you want a chihuahua that's healthy then don't get a teacup one.

First of all there is no such thing as a teacup anything so forget about it and  you are not going to get a full breed chi for 200.00

teacup chihahuas are no such thing, there have been people breeding and breeding to get smaller and smaller ones to make more money, the registrys dont even identify them. you have very sick dogs when they are breed like that, theyre just too small and very unhealthy, some chi's can be hypoglycemic, but you get a very small one and your guarenteed to have it and pay lots of medical bills and then may even having it die early anyways. please as a chihuahua breeder please get a responsible breeder who wont tell you teacup, rare breed or a certain size because its not true and no way to tell. you can even go to aca, or akc websites and they give names and info on breeders. good luck, and make sure they have vacs and vet checked and see theyre living quarters, and a health guarentee, a good breeder will do all of the above and will always be there to help with questions or problems

"teacup" is a term used by backyard breeders to sell unhealthy runts for an outrageous price.

Do yourself a favor and get a "normal" Chihuahua.  If you can only afford $200 you'll never have enough to cover the vet bills that a "teacup" will rack up.

There is no such thing as a Teacup, Mini, Micro or Pocket Size Chihuahua! There are only two types of Chihuahuas and that is Long Coat and Short Coat, that's it!!! Teacup is just a term, that irresponsible, backyard breeders, that don't care anything about the welfare of their dogs use, when they breed one runt to another runt, in order to get smaller puppies that they can sell you, in order to rip you off and steal your money. Get yourself a standard size Chihuahua. They are small enough as it is!

Try rescues or shelters. They are the only ones in that price range. Besides many chis that are over 9 oz at 5 wks, end up in shelters...unless they are lucky enough to go to a rescue.
