okay i am a freshman on the vollyball team (the A team) and we have the freshman B, sophmores, JV and varsity teams too

okay this weekend we went out of town and the sophmore team was late to get on the bus, lost their game, and then during our varsity game they wouldn't stand up and cheer to support our team. Four sophmores in particular and the the juniors on the JV team told them to stand and they told them to shut up!!!! upperclassman!!!!!! and then our manager said that they stand at football games so why is it any different and they just said well this isn't football!!!!

does anyone think that our sophmores are b****es??? i think they should get kicked off but they're popular so their coach doesn't even care!!!!. we also have a rule where you can't wear blue jeans on trips and they did but they did'nt get in trouble!!!!!! this is so bs i don't undestand it adn i have to play wiht them for the next 3 years till they graduate!

  1. As a freshman I think it is in your best interest to let your coach deal with team politics and focus on your game. You will not only have to play with the sophmores in the future, but you will have to go to school with them as well. The last thing you want to do is create more drama, and if you start calling out the sophmores that is all you will be doing.

Relax and play your game. When you are a junior or senior you can take a bigger role in team politics, but if I were you I would try not to pick sides and instead lead by example, on the court.

  2. As a freshman, it would not help for you to talk with the coaches this early in the season.  Unless you have a coach that seems friendly to you.  If you are comfortable talking with one particular coach, approach them.

If you do not have a coach that you feel comfortable talking to, try to ignore the problem.  If their attitude problem is obvious to you, it will be obvious to everyone.  They THINK they are getting away with it.  They may get away it for this year.  Next year when there are two freshman teams and a sophomore team competing for a JV team and a sophomore team.  3 teams competing for 2 teams spots.  Their attitude of this season will hurt them next season.

  3. suck it up and take it like a man.

why are you stressing out over them? its not even your buisness. Focus on your goals and your game...not them.

trust me...this c**p drama never stops and there is nothing you can do about it.

  4. well sorry...favoritism is everywhere..and you cant simply do anythin about it...

  5. Talk to your coach..i don't really understand about the standing thing though. confusing...good luck

  6. confront them about it. ask them what their deal is. do it in a nice and polite way though, u dont want to end up in a trash can. JK~!

  7. wat u need to do, is take all your anger out on the ball in the games. When you are mad, go  spike the ball down someones throat. If you serve overhand, hit that ball so hard that it goes out of bounds. That way, the other team knows that you DON'T take no mess!!!!!

  8. that really stinks mabey you should try to get them into trouble or ignore them when they say anything to you or whatever they do

  9. i have the same sort of problem with our team but what you have to do is stick to your guns and dont let them boss you around and if they wont cheer for you,,,think as if you dont even need them their useless and the only way you need to win is with the rest of your A team support
