THEY ARE SUBSIDISED BY UK LOTTO.

WITHOUT THAT WE WOULD BE WE NORMALLY ARE STRUGGLING

It does not matter where the money comes from.

GB is a joke at funding sports of all kinds. This country has done remarkably well considering.

Funding needs to come from some where. The government should, and needs, to do more to support our sports people.

Other Countries throw obscene amounts of money at funding sport.

They also look out for talent at very young ages.

Instead, in this Country, Primary schools now do not encourage winners, or push children to do the best that they can.

By the time a child gets to secondary/High school a talented sports person could lose out on vital training and encouragement.

I bet we do not do as well when 2012 comes around. As the next host Country we should strive to put on the best Olympics in history, and beat this years great achievements.

All other Countries are going to strive to beat us at 2012, especially those Aussies.

WELL DONE TO ALL THOSE WHO TOOK PART IN THE OLYMPICS AND A VERY WELL DONE TO THOSE WHO BROUGHT HOME MEDALS. YOU PUT A BIT OF PRIDE BACK INTO OUR COUNTRY. WELL DONE
