The seven-day race is starting from March 10 and Anthony is optimistic to continue his tremendous form at the contest.
He briefed, "There are a few selective stages that suit the more versatile riders, and there I think I can definitely make a difference there, On those smaller climbs that’s where I think I can excel, and be in the mix for the win but we'll be taking it stage by stage".
Team Manager Andrew Christie-Johnston also has high hopes from the cyclist and admitted that Giacoppo’s good form can easily turn the tour in their favour.
"Anthony quite possibly can win the whole Tour, looking at the profiles there are a few steep climbs along the way, so we’ll be doing some specific training on that kind of terrain ahead of the start," he explained.
A total number of five cyclists are to represent Team Genesys Wealth Advisers for the race. They are: Ben Dyball, Anthony Giacoppo, Pat Shaw, Sam Davis and Alex Carver.
Only time will tell if Anthony can continue his splendid form to seal the overall victory at the Tour de Taiwan 2012.
