Team Handball, what's with that name?

Why is it called "team" handball, it's not like there's an "individual" handball. At least not that I know of, or is there?

It is Team Handball because there is also a game with a small blue ball and a wall

i dont know just plain had ball sounds weird if you say to me "hey lets play handball" i would think you want to play hand balls

It's called Team Handball because it's different from Handball.

Handball is when theres 2 players against eachother throwing a ball against the wall, raquetball type game

Team Handball is a team game with 5 players on the court trying to put the ball in the oppositions goal.

So there is a difference between them and thats why its called Team Handball
