Team http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 keeps media away from practice nets for ‘security reasons’ – Cricket News Update
Having lost the npower Test series 0-4, Team India have decided to hold in-camera practice sessions as the local media are not being allowed to cover the practice which they are doing for today’s T20 clash against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Leicestershire-c807.
Though the team’s support staff is linking it with the security reasons but some analysts opine that the Indians are saving their faces from the media cameras after the humiliating defeat that has dethroned them from the International Cricket Council’s top
Test rank.
The liaison officer of the team told, “the coach (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Duncan-Andrew-Gwynne-Fletcher-c54742) has asked me and the security personnel to keep media off the practice session.”
As per reports, the players are highly scared following bomb blast rumor which erupted during their last tour match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kent-c802 and they do not want to take any risk by letting the media men to come in their practice nets.
The security situation in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 is dismal as the entire country is awash with violent protests, arsons, blockades and breakages. The visitors have expressed their concerns about this mess many times but they are supposed to stay there and complete the
series which has 5 ODIs and a T20I match still left to be played.
According to experts, another reason behind Team India’s aversion to the media can be the humiliation and insult that the local newspapers and TV channels have outpoured against them after their demise.
A few days back, an online English newspaper compared the guest team with a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Middlebrook-c1651 and published its story with an image of the animal.
Apart from it, the Men in Blue are being treated with sheer disrespect in talk shows and opinion pages. However, the international cricket fraternity is condemning this biased trend of the media of the triumphant team.
Today’s T20 is the last tour game of the series of five. After this, England and India will play a one-off T20I on August 31 and start the ODI series on September 3.
This tour has proved to be the most failed and disastrous in the history of Team India as they have mislaid all they gathered with steady and strenuous efforts of years.
