Team TILT skipper Alex Schneiter wants side to learn from 2011 Extreme Sailing Series Act 8
All-Europe sailing Team, TILT, debuted in the 2011 Extreme Sailing Series Act 8 but the side had a slow start to their campaign as they finished on tenth spot in the standings at the conclusion of Day 1. Skipper Team TILT, Alex Schneiter, believes they have
come to learn as much as they can from the top sailors of the world to make their team a better side in future.
Speaking to the media at the conclusion of the day, Alex Schneiter said, “We’ve been a little bit shy at the beginning to try to get into the rhythm. We don’t have any sporting ambition here, we just want to learn as fast as possible, have a lot of fun and
get as close as possible with those top sailors! It’s not everyday that you can race against such a bunch of sailors.”
