Team fortress 2?? GHz and direct X level????

Question

I'm thinking of buying tf2 but the game requires 1.7GHz and I have 1.6GHz.. would that affect the gameplay??? if so how would it affect it?

And also, It requires a "DirectX® 8 level Graphics Card" How do I know what level my graphic card is?? I ran DXdiag but I can't find it anywhere.

Please tell me where I can find the level of my DX card exactly.

To be honest, running it under minimum specs is not recommended.

To be blunt I wouldn't run it with those specs, even at the recommended minimum.

TF2 would have a hard time running it will playable framerates with those specs.

It all varies, and the fact that your card maybe DX8 capable doesn't mean the game will run smoothy/properly.

To me minimum specs is like a marketing ploy that intice you to buy their products.

Find the name of your card and search it on NEWEGG to see if it is DirectX8 capable.

-To find the name of your card

-just right click properties

-display option

-advance

-display adapters
