Team is in good space reveals http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BJ-Haddin-c1170 – Cricket News Update
Australian wicket-keeper, Brad Haddin said that the team is in good space ahead of an important series against the Indians, which begins at the memorable Melbourne Cricket Ground from Boxing Day.
With the hosts under pressure to perform, their veteran glove man is eager to strike first blood and for that, he believes the team’s preparation have been ideal.
The under firing batting lineup which includes http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MEK-Hussey-c1942 and Haddin himself, all took part in a three-day batting camp, where the main aim was to adjust to the swinging ball.
Their techniques all came under considerable warning after all failed to cope with good swing/seam bowling in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754, allowing their close neighbour’s to level the two-match Test series.
Haddin however, feels that everyone is looking forward to match fans expectations as they gear to play in front of a packed stadium at the MCG.
“I think we're in a very good space," he said. "We've had a week to prepare. We couldn't be more prepared and more looking forward to the game. Boxing Day is a great occasion to walk out on the MCG. As a sportsman it's a highlight to come out in front of sometimes 60-70 thousand. We've had a very good couple of days at our batting camp and we're ready for this."
Like his teammates, his own form has been patchy where he has not made a century in his last 14 outings. The major worry for him is to deal with his attacking instinct, where in recent times he has been criticized for throwing away his wicket. However, Haddin believes the main change will account in playing according to the demands of situation presented to him.
From my point of view it's not the swinging ball," he said. "It's just making sure my mindset is just playing at the tempo I play at, don't try to take the game forward too quick and just react to the game."
