I went out with a woman who was on my roller hockey team a couple years ago .. think it helps that I got 5 goals and 2 assists the first game she played with us ;=)

NO.. I am 37 and learned a long time ago... not to date people I work with and  people I would be on COMPETITIVE sports teams with would be included on that list. You do not want any animousity if things do not work out.

On an adult league when i was 20, I dated a girl of my summer team. The point is to be mature, and not act childish. If things dont work out, oh well.....   You learn, and move on.. If one,. or both of you cant handle that, then dont go there.

Obviously some people have never heard of "co-ed teams" and jump to conclusions. You sound like you're young so go for it. If anything, it'll be a relatively hard life lesson for you emotionally, and when it comes to relationships, there's nothing wrong with that.
