  1. A better way to find a sponsor is to ask local businesses. You can mention the school you go to, and that warms them up a bit to your cause.

Many sponsors will help just from receiving a letter.  Type up a polite letter explaining what airsoft is and how it's a great activity for young people, keeping them busy, building friendships and confidence, good exercise.  They need to understand what they're sponsoring and how it will help you.  Also, what are they buying with their sponsorship?  Many businesses expect  a bit of free advertising because of the sponsorship.  My advice is to say you'll have stickers or t-shirts made with the sponsor logo, and that your team will all wear the stickers/tshirts on game days.

Have another person check your letters for typos, and bring the letters in person to local business managers.  Ask at the time if you may have their name and follow up with a visit or phone call.

Many businesses realize how good it is for everyone involved if they help out in the community, especially with kids.
