Teams that can challenge Miami Heat for the Championship in the next season: NBA Special (Part-1)
Last season, the Miami Heat reached the National Basketball Association (NBA) finals. The Heat played consistently throughout the regular season and qualified for the playoffs as number second seed from the Eastern Conference behind
the Chicago Bulls.
The trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh helped the Heat to win total 58 regular season games. Although, they lost 24 games, but their winning percentage gave them the boost that was required upon entered in the post-season.
The Heat worked hard and kept their winning tradition maintained in the next games too and strived forward for the NBA title. They defeated every opponent they faced during the 2010-2011 competition and eventually reached the NBA
finals against the Dallas Mavericks.
However, the Heat could not finish the finals’ games the way many people expected form them to finish, but still they demonstrated the out class basketball in-front of thousands of spectators. They never showed any loop holes in
their game until the Mavericks came and challenged them.
Meanwhile, the new NBA season is around the corner if the lockout will be lifted from the players and many teams again preparing themselves to face the Heat and their trio of James, Wade, and Bosh. Every NBA team has a potential
to excel in the league against any opponent, but some teams are always considered as title contenders. According to some speculations in the media three teams especially the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic are trying their very best to
outclass the Miami Heat in the upcoming season
Boston Celtics:
The Boston Celtics have always surprised with their killing instinct and this time, they are also busy planning and making strategies against the Miami Heat. The entire Boston management is still finding little deficiencies in
their roster which damaged them in the previous season.
The Celtics were defeated by Heat in their Conference Semi-finals and now wanted to get revenge from the Heat. The Celtics played vigilantly throughout 2010-2011 season and qualified for the playoffs as number three seed from the
Eastern Conference behind the Heat.
Though, the Celtics played well in the post-season but eventually they had to face the Heat in their Conference Semi-finals where they could not stop the Heat and ultimately lost from them. That particular lost left huge impact
on the Celtics and they decided to change the defensive strategies and bring some new plans against the Heat. Their focus will not to play more defensively instead engage the Heat more offensively.
The Celtics' big three are also waiting anxiously to go out and play like real superstars. Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce are already at the peak of their careers and want to end their career on a high note. Some basketball
experts are also convince as these three might not be so quick on the court, but still their experience would help them in the upcoming season.
