  1. There is no "I" in team, but there is a "Me".

  2. I believe that true teamwork is a way to guarantee one's existence.  The logical mind would know coexistence is a lot better than trying to do EVERYTHING by yourself.  But when things get to CROWDED - both within an animal population and with human beings - things get touchy and fighting breaks out - each want and need their own piece of space.  In other words - the individual needs, will win out over the group, when things get tight.

  3. I believe it is one of the most important things to any group survival. Like Bertrand Russell said, "The only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation."

People fight (generally speaking) due to petty solemn differences in faith and culture. But I think it is truly a group cause that brings us out of anything along with passion.

If a group is determined to come out on top, it doesn't matter what obstacles you place before it, it will conquer. Take our Independence, or even hurricane Katrina or 9/11. People put aside any and all differences to help everyone because it was a "time of need" Now when you are not in this "time of need" Man will go with baser instincts of isolationism so basically you get a "not my problem" type scenario. Which is why in large cities you see someone get mugged and people will generally walk around or ignore it.

If you boil it down, you get people to push for team work only when a crises or large situation happens. Instead of everyday scenes. Which is important because it should be any time an issue occurs, because again, it will be the only thing to redeem us.

  4. I believe it necessary for those of us who have darker skin, and you identify with the way I present why I think the answer is:  Nothing but acceptance for the individuality of how we both  find a way to complete, which was based on the similarities that we share, have a wonderful opportunity to share social events, and we can both write three priorities on a strip of paper. fold it tightly, drop into collection box, and later that afternoon, we would begin to record the answers.

As for team work, well, I do not want to be joined at the hip of anyone else.  Creative thinking provides us with opportunity to either accept the values of a group, or would you just go forward with your original plan.  But then: I like to listen to the stories of the experiences, their memories from as far back as you can go.  What I have learned The hardships, involved from being poor are not attractive to me.  However, I am in a reductionist state of mind, and away I go.
