Teasing hair problem.........?

Question

when i tease my hair, instead of sticking up, it'll just fall right back down.

what should i do so it will stay up?

Add styling mousse, then tease it. Spray on hairspray, and it should stay. Also try hair-drying it backward by pulling up the hair and blowing it from underneath, not above.

okay....hairspray is the answer.

Treseme EXTRA HOLD is pretty awsome if you are low on money...and holds very well.

i oersonally use big s**y hair... which is awsome as well.

but if you have money to spend..

i REALLY recommend bumble and bumble hair powder. this stuff is better than hairspray and leaves your hair soft rather than hard like hairspray. its soooo awsome..ive been using it rather than hairspray for 2 years.

its kinda expensive but worth it.

Grab a small amount of hair [if you grab too much it wont stay up] put hairspray use a round comb and start teasing at the roots then finish with more hairspray. good luck =]

well hold it straight up, dont let it fall, and add hairspray.

the more hairspray, the stronger hold. =]

but that also means it's more knotty and hard to brush afterwords.

Products sound necessary - hair spray or mousse. I think Ive read that sugar dissolved in water can be like a home hair spray. Bit icky though I think.

Personally I blow dry my hair using a round brush or a 'diffusing attachment' which is this big round thing with pokey bits coming out of it. I lift the hair and push it over the opposite way it will fall when its complete. More 'air in my hair' you know lol.

I often get velcro curlers and put them at the crown and leave them in a while as im just around the house or in the car on way to work :P This gives more body. If using a straightener pull the hair up and sit it the opposite direction it will be in until it cools and it will hold more body. If you let your hair dry naturally - dont tie it up while it dries or it will be stuck flat.

you have to tease a tight base. use a rat tail comb , then spray.

Add this blue grease. I use it, my hair will do ANYTHING. But don't put it up. keep it down. it looks pretty.
