A Tech "twahh" Yammy on prov second place on the grid? Again?

Have the boys in Birmingham (Dunlops UK HQ) figured out how to make good rubber for the MotoGP class? Lets hope so.

Can we see Dunlop [ back ] on the podium in what might be there swan song race?

  1. Well done Tech 3. 5th & 6th on the grid. I've been rating Guintoli all year (when you consider the kit he's had). I still think it should be him partnering JT next year, with Colin iether retireing gracefully or going to AMA. Still.......Tech 3's loss is d'Antin's gain, and what with the extra cash being injected into d'Antin next season, could prove to be a good move for Sylvain.

As for Dunlop.......It's gonna be a real shame not to see them on the grid. I'm hoping (although it's a bit of a fantasy) that Dunlop, KR and Ilmore get together, just so we can see something different on the grid.

Ilmore certainly have the experience to produce a decent motor. We know how good KR chassis are, and we've seen Dunlop coming on in leaps and bounds this season. I think they could produce a decent package. Don't suppose it'll ever happen though. (But a nice idea)

  2. They seem to be improving but have you noticed that they are doing good only in the practice? When it comes to the race itself, they are never capable of doing the best!

By the way are Dunlop staying in MotoGP? I kind of missed the whole tyre situation.

  3. Hi Wiggysan. its good news so far. still today for people to get settings right. but I noticed yesterday that the duc's got their times early on in the session whereas the yam's and honda's were clocking faster times later. 20+ laps. is this a guide to the tyre sitch. could be interesting. first 12 inside a second of stoner.

  4. Morning Wiggy

I certainly hope Guintoli has a good one - he's looked promising all year and his new team (forgotten who) should be glad to have him.

I am also hoping that something good will happen for Dunlop during the closed season as like you I want to see as many manufacturers as pos. competing and they've really been trying hard.

While I'm giving props. to all, let's hear it for tech trois - who will be having their best ever season next year when Toseland wins his first GP crown with them, then rides a lap of honour naked before taking me out for dinner - hang on!.......I must be dreaming!
