Tech help for downloading pics to computer

Question

I connected my Canon Powershot SD 1000 to my computer using the interface cable... but nothing is happening. Why? Could it be because I am using a USB hub????

Usually it should just pop up, it may not be do to a pop up blocker. This can be inabled by clicking on your tools menu and allowing pop ups. If this is not the case then go to my computer under your start menu. There under camers and printers a icon should be, click on this and there you can view your pictures.
