Tech school --long assignment--marriage timeline?

My bf and I want to get married. He's going in the AF and just now got his tech school assign. He's going to be going to basic in December, and then gone for 8 mos for tech school. When's the best time to get married? I am sad that he'll be away for so long. :-( what's best to do here? Is it possible to get married after boot before tech?

I would say let him do all his schooling first and see how it works between the both of you with him gone that much,cause that is one thing u will have to get use to the fact that your man will be gone and u get to be the head of the house... If u can handle him gone during Basic and Tech then say your I do's after.. If not do them now and just make sure u know what is expected of him and that its not a job he can just say hey wait a sec my wife needs me...  God Bless and good luck!!
