  1. To bite something, your teeth have to come down on it from both sides. If you chomp your teeth together technically you bite the air. Then you bite further and realize you're biting on the edges of your teeth. And you continue, biting on your own gums and such, and even further, until your jawbone and eye sockets are chomping on your nose!
