Techno-geeks, please advise on a PDA solution for my technology needs.

My schedule has recently become increasingly cramped and gets updated almost hourly. A diary can no longer suffice because of the constant updates/alterations. Therefore I am seeking a PDA which will allow me to plan my day down to the half-hour or less AND still make regular changes.

The PDA also needs to have an easily comprehensible display on a decent size screen. I am willing to accept a slightly bulky gadget for the sake of a decent size screen and long battery life. I also need it to be capable of picking up wireless internet on-campus and in airports.

This PDA also needs to be a decent mobile phone with all the standard features. I don't know if PDAs come with in-built cameras but this will definately make me happier.

I use the sim-card system, which is applicable to the UK and most of Africa. Therefore the phone needs to be compatible with the sim-card system. Most importantly, it cannot be 'locked-in' to a single service provider.

I need the PDA for professional purposes, not for re-creative ones.

Finally, if there are any new PDAs coming out in the near future, please suggest them as well. I am willing to wait for a quality product which will best suit my needs.

My budget is plus/minus $800.
