  1. Digital/computer generated images

    Digital manipulation of photographs

Mediums of film (movie reels, television broadcasts, video tapes/laserdiscs)

    Color photography

    Electric lightbulbs

Mass produced anything used in art

Not sure whether digital photography existed before 1990.

  2. How about the development of film, television, radio, neon lights, colour film, colour television, colour photography, fibreglass, plastics? All of these were new technologies in your specified era.

A logical pairing would be the advent of personal photography (when cameras became a domestic appliance), and the advent of digital photography.

Photography itself is only a couple of decades before your era, but it wasn't considered an artform until well into the 20th century.
