Technology and your views?

i am doing an assignment at college about how computers have impacted the way we live and would really apprieciate it if you could take the time to tell me how you feel about technology and all these gadgets

Symbiotic. Well similar to. One can not function to its full effect without the other so we operate in unison. Through technology we have bridged the gap between continents and created a united world.

Using technology we have sped progress and created cures in the medical world.

More efficient business practices. More accurate calculations.

Simulations before practical testing. Diagnostics for equiptment which otherwise would be unstable.

Advancement in almost every industry on the planet, like aviation.

Additional languages to learn. Understanding of our world, how it works, the cultural and governmental differences and how they work.

Free access to information difficult to obtain otherwise. Most importantly, through the Internet the people have a true voice. And those who would have needed to live in near solidarity due to illness, disability or old age can live almost their entire lives through the computer. Communication, shopping, banking, filling out forms, and keeping up to date with the latest news and current events are just some ways the Internet contributes to making the lives of these people easier.
