Technology vs.intelligence?

technology has been used to date the solar system,prove the sun does not revolve around the earth,prove and date dinosaurs,found human remains that predate 'god'.the australians recently discovered through modern technology a warship on the bottom of the ocean that went missing over 65 years ago in ww2. the jews can find a single guard from a concentration camp and bring him to justice.so why with all this available technology cant we find one piece of human rubbish called osama bin laden?

You don't have to be intelligent to use technology (mobile phone,i-pods and the like) but without technology, intelligence is impossible. To find Osama Bin Laden, why sent a rat into a vipers pit!?

The question really is:  are we really interested in him at this point?  If we find him, and bring him in, does this bring the end to our presence in the mid-east?  And is he held for ransom to end terrorism in all parts of the world?  Or just in Iraq?  Terrorists will continue long after he has been detained; they don't have a particular mission of peace.  So who cares if we catch him or not; its not going to end terrorism.
