Ted wanted to be president. How does he view the 2-term guy from Arkansas (Bill Clinton)?

Bill got elected twice. Ted never became president.

What does he think about how life turned out --- Bill becoming president and Ted not becoming president?

I don't think Ted really wanted to be president; I think he felt that it was his responsibility (family). He saw what happened to his brothers and probably thought he'd get the same. His campaign was a joke and he couldn't give a good reason why he was running.

Ted only ran for president because somebody had to run against Carter from his own party, just to give Democrats a reason to vote in the fall.  He had a very successful career in the Senate, and I don't think he resents the Clintons in any way for what happened in 92.

ted could never have made it to president. he should never have made it to congress. the family's money is all that saved him.
