Teddy Sheringham feels that Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes can make an international comeback, in the same manner that he returned for the Red Devils.
Paul Scholes had gone on to retire from football at the start of the season, but went on to make a shocking return for United earlier this month. The thirty seven year old was brought back into the club to fill in for the numerous injured players at the
club and he is set to continue playing on till the end of the current season.
Sheringham, who is a former Manchester United player himself, went on to hail the midfielder’s commitment to the club and feels that he could make a comeback for the international squad as well.
The former striker is quoted to have said: "He’s playing games here and there and he can do the same for England.”

“He can come on for 20 minutes or start a game and play for an hour. He is still a good player. Get him out there.”
At the moment, Fabio Capello seems to be open to just about any ideas and could consider trying to lure the United midfielder back into the team. However, given Scholes’s relationship with the national team as opposed to United, he might just vote against
a sensational international return.
The Former Red Devil also raised his concerns about the team’s Premier League ambitions, as he feels they need to get their act together and push the envelope, if they are to stand any chance of getting ahead of Manchester City at this point in the season.
He then went on to conclude by stating: “They are in the right position again, it’s just pushing on from there now, but I think they need to improve.”
With Paul Scholes back in the mix for United, they now have the quality that they were missing in their midfield, which is bound to help them produce a series of good performance in the league, while picking up a maximum number of points.
Should Alex Ferguson manage to use his team’s experience with its youth infused in-between, United could potentially go on and beat City to the Premier League crown.
