Teddy bears made from used fur coats in eastern Ontario?

I would be dubious about purchasing a Teddy bear made from old fur coats.   The fur could dry out very fast and rip off.   A child could be allergic to fur.    Furs require cold storage in the summer time and special fur cleaning with sawdust and chemicals which is quite expensive.
