Teddybear hamsters?????????

Question

Hello im getting new two syrain hamsters one boy and the other girl i have 4 cages because they dont like to be with eachother and the other two are for when they have babbies one for females and the other for males. I have already researched EXSTENCIVLY about breeding. but... i still have some questions.

1. what happens if the hamster only has one boy or one girl and the rest are oppisite s*x? Will the lonely hammie be ok in the cage on its own or shouls it stay with its mom or dad??

2. Carefresh and aspen are the BEST right?

3. is there anything that i could use to keep their teeth down from around the house?? ( I heard dog treats but im not so sure)

He will be lonely, he should be with his mom and dad.

I'm not sure how to answer your breeding questions (you might want to ask a vet about that)

But I had a female syrian and she loved her Carefresh...it's softer, and it absorbs the odor/liquids better. My vet lives by Carefresh and is the one that got me started on it. You can use dog biscuits for their teeth, also wood chews (no cedar or pine and no painted), or even just cardboard tubes (they love those). Wood chews from the store aren't expensive. Your first question - if there is one girl or one boy and the opposite gender the girl or boy will not feel left out. The mom will care for it more and since they are brothers and sisters they get a long and play.

second question- Carefresh and aspen are perfect Make sure u dont use cedar and pine

Third question- Dog treats are fine. There is also these wood things. You can make them into houses or stairs. They make the bitenot hard at all and bring there teeth down. Check at your closest pet sotre

And syrian are the best hamsters Great choice !!!!!!
