  1. Ohh....depends who offers him more

  2. Why do you care about what Selanne does.  Do you realize that the reason Anaheim SUCKED so bad most of this year, and bombed in the playoffs, was because of what Selanne and Neidermayer did???

If they contemplated retirement... (We all know they just didn't feel like playing through another rigorous regular season), then they just don't have the drive anymore.  Why would you want players like that on your team???  Fill the roster with players who want to be there.

  3. These old competitors like to go out on top.  It's possible he could take it.

  4. Teemu will not leave Anaheim

    and Scotty will return..

    trust me =0

  5. 1. Teemu is an unrestricted free agent. No one is trading for him. He'll retire or sign with whomever he wants after July 1.

    2. Teemu has NOT been offered a contract. That would be in violation of the NHL rules. Free agency does not start until July 1. This is only a rumor based on the fact that Teemu is friends with Saku Koivu. Could happen, but it is not a foregone conclusion.

    3. Part of the reason that this rumor began is because Brian Burke, smartly, put his foot down and told Teemu and Niedermayer that he wasn't going to put his team on hold all season this time waiting for them to make up their minds. So everyone, naturally, is assuming that Teemu will jump ship. But it is still all just rumor.

    4. What should he do? Whatever he wants to!

    5. Forget Scotty. He's not going anywhere. That's a pipe dream... albeit one that just about every team in the NHL has.

  6. It's a rumor, but if it's true I will cry because I will be so happy.

I think Scotty has one more year left in him.

  12. You can't be offered a contract until July 1st.  You may have heard a rumor, but he hasn't been offered anything.  Personally I think he should hang em up.
