Teen Bedroom Decorating Help

Question

I am a teen and I am moving into a new room across the hall. So I am updating my room. I have a bedspread already and would like to coordinate around it. The main colors will be brown, green, light blue, and a deep blue. Does anyone have any websites that could help with finding furniture at a good cost? It is coming to my last years in high school and I want somewhere to relax during my stressfull days in school. Can anyone help?

try haverty and rooms to go somethings they  can be expensive but your could get the motel # and buy it on ebay and sticks and stuff

I'm 14 years old, so a little younger than you. I just finished painting my room green. The shade is called pale tidepool. I like it a lot. I also want to add some decorations to my walls. I have some ideas. You could paint your closet the same color, and add some stripes. You could get a strip of wallpaper, and glue it 4 feet above the ground, and have it go around the perimeter of the room. You could also stencil or stamp some things onto your wall. Like maybe your name. Or, if you like soccer, maybe a soccer ball. If you like music, a guitar, etc. You could also write some of your favorite quotes. Maybe above your head.

I get most of my furniture from ikea. It's good and cheap. Crate and Barrel also has great furniture. Their style is a little bit more modern.

Go to ikea.  They have inexpensive items that are pretty hip. = )
