Teen Bedroom Redo?

Ok i need to redo a dudes teen bedroom...new paint, new bed post or something. I'm not sure... what should be done? Any opions

Keep it simple, so it can be versatile and changed to the teens needs, a simple dark colour is easy to do this, light colours can make rooms seem twee (don't go too dark). Leave plenty of space and room for change as his fancies will change more than his room design.
