My mother said we will be able to go on a trip this year. At first we thought Disneyland, then N.Y.C. now, I want to go on a Cruise... How can I convince her to go on one with me?

  1. Find a cheap one and one that leaves in a covenant place for your family.

  2. Here are some of the top reasons to cruise, that might help persuade your mom:

    1. VALUE

The ticket price covers accommodations, dining, entertainment, and more. In general, this price is 20-40% below what you would pay for a land-based vacation of comparable quality.

    2. SIMPLICITY

She won't have to worry about a rental car or finding nice places to eat or things to do.  Much less hassle than NYC or Orlando.  Plus you only pack and unpack once.

    3. FAMILY FUN

Cruises are great for families.  She'll be happy that you're enjoying the teen program and other people your age on a safe ship (you can't get lost, nobody can nab you, there's lots of security, etc.). Meanwhile, the adults can have some well-deserved time alone at the pool or in the spa....

    Good luck!

  3. Show her how much cheaper Cruises are than Disneyland or NYC.

  4. I would go to www.carnival.com

and go to you're local library and check out some picture cruise books. Show her all the activities she can do. Show her what some of the ports are like (ports are the places you stop at during your cruise) such as the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas ....etc. A cruise is a vacation in which you can sit and relax and do nothing OR be packed with entertainment, and never stopping fun. Also, majority of all cruise line food is all inclusive so the rate you pay for the cruise covers everything pop, ice cream, fruit, meat, bread etc.

*But if you want alcoholic drinks or specialty drinks like coladas that will cost you extra.

  5. Hey, show her this. It shows how you save and  have more fun.

    http://www.carnival.com

If you sign up they have a table that shows the money you would waste at NYC or Disney compared to the money wasted on a cruise.

Royal caribbean also has some articles to convince people to cruise with them. Check it out and show it to her.
