Teen Girl Room Ideas???

Question

I am 13

and im redoing my room

but im stuck i have no idea

how to do it ! so i need ideas

i love orange,yellow,pink,green, and blue

and my rooms not exactly that big

Maybe something thats not too full-on like a nice neutral kind of blue with  neutral pink windows and doors, that kind of thing. I reckon keep it a bit bland but tasteful, because you might be stuck with it for a while, and will probably want posters and stuff thats changeable anyway. Good luck!

you can buy heaps of wall paper designs atm, some places even make photo's into wallpaper!

or you can paint your walls your favourite colour, or have a feature wall of stripes or swirls or just one plain colour.

if you dont want to paint your wall or anything, you can by plain canvases from fabric or craft shops. go out and buy a couple of your fav colours or patterns of fabrics and cover them over the canvas and mount them on the wall!! we have some in our lounge...they look awesome!!

Displaying photo's is great fun. even a wall or massive pin board full of pitcures etc is great

The wall of the room can do everything, sometimes you wont even need new furniture.

If your looking at furniture, i would look at bean bags or little chairs.

even little accesories, such as clocks, trinkets etc.

boxes are great for storage, there easy to hide under the bed too!!

and boxes now come in awesome patterns!!

well u being a girl u shud go for brighter colors...tints and shades of pink will give ur room a character...the room shud reflect ur personality...also u can go for a combination of pink n green but be careful that can be very tricky...n also ur room shud reflect the things u like...hope this helped u...best of luck tc.

to make a small room look bigger paint it white ( i love debbie travis wisteria white)

then use your favorite bright color as a accent..like bedding and stuff or paint one of the walls on of your favorite colors!!

the white will brighten your room and make it bigger..and the color Will give it that individual style!

do a trace of your self and paint that how you like it and that would make your room look great

those colors ain't a good match(remove the bright colors)a light colored with some prints,

match up some comfortable furniture with relaxing colors and a good lamp or a window

as you like so many different colours, how about this:

- you paint your walls white. that way, you can accessorize with one or two of the colours you like, and if at a later date you decide you prefer different colours, you only need to change tha accessories, as white will go with anything.

- also, white walls will make the room feel bigger and airier.

- as for the furniture, its best to stick with a natural wood, as it will go with anything.
