Teen Room Painting Ideas?

Hi! I think I have an Idea of what I want my room to be. I have a medium sized room with beige carpet and this is the furniture I want...but help me choose between the dressers...heres the bed, http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10121761 . For the paint, I want to do 1 wall in each of these colors...A dark hot pink...green...tealish blue...and a dark purple. What would you think if I used the Behr Crackle Finish on those colors...what do you think of my idea? would it get old too quick? would I like the crackle finish, or should I just leave it? and which dresser would you like better?? THANKS!!

The two dressers are actually very different products. The wardrobe I would assume has a bar for hanging items not shelfs. If you are in need of an actual dresser choose the first one above. The components you selected are very contemporary and will look great with the bold colors. I would not however do each wall in a different color. You will feel like you live in a circus room. I would think the only way to incorporate all 4 colors on the wall would be to create a pattern that uses all 4 but in a specific fashion, such as stripes all around with the greeen a big chunky stripe, the hot pink a tiny squiggly stripe and the other two toned down in smaller stripes or dashes.  I don't recommend the crackle as this is intended for a traditional environment and will throw off the contemporary style. Also bonus idea. use the colors of the wall to line the inside of the drawers on the dresser (color out towards the front edge to see through the frosted glass look)...

First of all, I love the bed, great choice! As for the dressers, I would go with the first one, it's less distracting, but still pretty. The wall colors will make your head spin, I would choose 1 light color that you like for three walls and 1 darker one for an accent wall. Definitely do without the crackle finish, that will make it feel like a multicolored rock in there. Go for some fun bedding like at IKEA, find some fun Pillows, and I always tell people to check Pottery Barn, or in your case PB Teen.
