Question

1.what can teens doing to not be bored over summer ?

2. does anyone know anything for teens to do in Scotland over summer ?

[i live near glasgow but i can get a train to edinburgh e.t.c if there's anything intresting happening]

3. are any of you teens getting a summer job ?

[if so where and do you have to be 16?]

i dont have a job...yeah you have to be 16 but i dont want a job. im busy with school... this summer i went to israel with my mom and grandmother, and soon im going to go to germany to visit family. before i went to Israel i was hanging with friends, playing soccer, swimming, shopping,etc... it wasnt too bad...

most places you do have to be 16 yes

however, most like restaurants hire pot washers n stuff under the age of 16 here in england so should do in scotland too.

perhaps a paper round?

u could go shopping, take up a sport or hobbie, recycle old clothes - make them look funky! theres tonnes to do!!

Get a job or volunteer - you can be under 16 for some jobs, as the person above said, like washer-uppers... it may not be that fun but it is money and you will meet new people!

Go on daytrips to Edinburgh/ other towns.

Re-decorate your room.

Make a band.

Go to a gig/ concert.

Have a garage sale.

Go to the beach.

Write a story.

Do ASCII art (look it up on google... it is g33ky lol).

Go to a funfair.

Take up knitting/ card making/ soap making etc.

Go to the zoo.

Enter free competitions (check that you're allowed to be under 16 for those though!).

There must be loads to do in Glasgow and Edinburgh - search 'things to do in glasgow' in google, it comes up with loads. Same for Edinburgh.

I think the only thing we can do over the summer is have late night BBQs with mates and look forward to going on holiday (if you are). :D Im supose to be getting a job, i keep telling myseff i will  (for months) but still haven't got round to it yet lol.
