Teen Vogue Magazine?????

Question

I am 13 years old and was wondering about this magazine?? Is it corny? My mom thinks i am too young to be worrying about how i look, but i am sick of the other magazine that i am getting (Girls Life....) and she doesn't want me reading anything with sexual content...like Cosmo girl, seventeen, etc. Do you think she will approve of it....or, how can i persuade her?? And please, please, don't say that tiger beat, bop, M, and all those other magazines like that are good, because they are just full of tabloids!

i've gotten teen vogue since i was 13. it mostly shows you the newest clothes and fashions available and even how you can get them for cheaper from stores near you. they also give make-up, hair, and other beauty tips and tricks. but they include serious articles on important issues such as, dieting and whether sweet-n-low is dangerous. i say you should check it out!

I've been reading Teen Vogue since I was 10-years-old.  Teen Vogue, for me, has always provided the perfect balance of fashion, beauty, health, and even real-life situations every girl should be weary and aware of.  I've known a lot of people in the past whose mom's would not let them read Teen Vogue for their various, private reasons, but I personally find nothing wrong or inappropriate content included in the magazine.  Especially for a 13-year-old like yourself,  you need to be reading about teenage drinking, birth control, and other teenage issues while you're still relatively young so you can be appropriately informed.  However, you have to remember Teen Vogue is mostly filled with fashion and beauty.  The magazine, after all is for teens, so of course it won't include anything inappropriate or suggest anything otherwise than what your parents raised and taught you to be.  Just provide a good argument for your mother and I'm sure she'll let you subscribe in a heartbeat.

i'm 13 and i read teen vogue. teen vogue has no sexual content so i'm sure your mom would be fine with it. all t.v. does is show you whats the latest styles and stuff. it doesn't really have a lot of stories or wording such as cosmo girl or seventeen, it mostly has a buttload of pictures. she will approve don't worry.

teen vogue is a really great mag. Especially if u like fashion like me. It has lots of articles on celebs along with amazing fashion spreads and beauty tips and tricks. Also it has articles about u know like those real life situations. For example a girl who has a sister with autism and stuff. Also articles like the truth about diet sodas. I highly suggest teen vogue. Hope u enjoy LOL. Btw I am 13 too & it doesn't have any sexual stuff
