Teen Weight Loss Stories?

Hey! As of late, I have been trying to lose some weight, and for motivation I'd like to hear some of your stories! :)

What did you eat and do for exercise? And how long did it take?

  1. Last year I lost 40 lbs.

    I was never huge but I had some jiggle.

    I ate kashi cereal for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and chicken&veggies for dinner. It was bland. I walked four miles a day sometimes five. Three days a week I would do 1 1/2 hours of pilates/yoga mix. It took three months =)


  2. 500cals a day  lax practice and a mile run every day lost 18lbs in a week

    lax is lacrosse btw haha

  3. In year 8 i wasa about teh same size as my friends there not fat but teh have a bit of flab not reli toned if u no what i mean.

    I started running eating more healthy and not snacking. I also played netball about 4 times a week which really helped.

    I have stayed the same weight but my body has changed shape. I have always had quite a big bottom but now its reli firm and i have lost fat of my stomach and its got a lot more muscle- not quite a six pack but i don't want bit to manish lol.

    The down side lost my b***s so not fair.

  4. Well i went on the Special K! diet, 2 bowls of cereal a day, 2 snack bars, and something healthy for dinner, i lost 8lbs in 2 weeks!!!

    I cut out all sweets, and gave up my habit of drinking soda

    I also did 45mins of cardio 4 days a week

    after the 2 weeks, i started losing about 2lbs a week and then when i got to the weight i was happy with, i stopped the diet but continued to eat healthy and not drink soda, and have maintained my weight

    So all together, i lost 10 pounds in a month on the special K diet, and have stayed the same weight since : )

  5. I never really lost the weight, but I lost the body fat levels, and went from fat to muscular.

    I weight about 180, I was 5'6", for the most part I wasn't very *cough* un-flabby. I worked out every day, start with simple things, such as running, and push-ups, and eventually slimmed down (now I'm beefin up...) and lost about 18 body fat percentages.

    Now I run miles a day, lift weights, am on the varsity team at school, and I'm soaring in the fitness world.

    I didn't loose weight take note,, I just gained muscle, and ridded of pure fat..

    It took a year.

  6. II had a few extra kilo's so I just cut out sweets,soft drinks,and fatty foods.I replaced that with fruit and healthier snacks and drank 8 glasses of water a day.I opened a gym contract and went about 3-4 times a week and did simple things like running on the tread mill and I cycled.

    You don't have to go on a crazy diet where you can't eat the food that you love,just eat in proportion and cut out the sweets,and some exercise helps a lot.I lost those extra kilo's and I also got nice and toned.

    And just remember that the slower you lose the weight,the longer it will stay off!
