Teenage Birthday Party Themes?

EVERYONE GETS THUMBS UP!

so this year- i get to plan my party. I get a budget and im on my

own from there ( i love doing this) All i need is this- a theme, or a main activity or place. base your ideas on the fact that:

-I'm a young teenager

-I'm a girl

-Im right next to touristy virginia (busch gardens, Virginia Beach)

-I dont have a tiny budget, i dont have a huge one

-I can do anything from four or five girls, to 30-50 boys and girls

-My party will be anywhere from the end of may to the middle of june

-i have a decent sized backyard

-i have a pool

Rule out

-Mall scavenger hunts,

-anything decade themes

-home spas

Since your birthday is near the beginning of summer I would suggest a beach/bonfire party.

- Just play tons of loud dance music

- have people bring food

- bring stuff for smores :)

- & make sure to have tons of blankets and chairs for people to sit.

a few suggestions...

have a rave. find a really good dj, rent a hall, invite LOADS of people, have glow sticks and stuff and wear whacky clothes.

have a dinner party and have evryone wear formal clothes [dresses, suits, etc] with champagne and posh food

have a fancy dress party where everyone has to dress as something beginning with the first letter of their name, so someone called Emma could come dressed as eeyore and someone called katy could come dressed as a kitten, etc. similarly, you could have the theme of a certain letter. ive known people to have 'P parties', so everyone has to dress as something beginning with the letter P, e.g police officer, postman/lady, painter, personal assistant, etc.

How about an American Idol party?  Have a karaoke machine available.  Tip your friends off in advance in case they want to bring their own cd or come in costume.  Order pizzas or a sub platter.  Hang cd's form tree limbs with fishing line.  Have fun!

My last party with my friends, we had a luau. We listened to songs from lilo and stitch, made slushys, and we had my whole back yard lit up with lights. We all went swimming for like the whole night. It was awesome!!

im 21 and personally looking back my best parties were just girls, but i understand if you want to include boys.

I would rent a limo and have them take you to a really nice restaraunt and have everyone where dresses and look nice!

Also concerts are cool ideas. Take your good girls to dinner and a concert.
