  1. You must be 18 years old to both buy the car and buy insurance -- both of which require you sign a legal contract. Besides, you can't just "use" your parents name to buy anyway.

  2. you'll probably need their money or their name to cosign the loan?

  3. When I was selling cars, we didn't accept applicants under the age of 18.

  4. You have to be at least 18- legal to sign a contract.

They may want a down payment and they will check credit.

You have to have a driver's license and insurance as well. Sometimes they require references and paystubs.

  5. just use your parents name it doesn't really matter

  6. i think u should buy a van with a BIG back seat area...... if ya no wat i mean dog! we playas stick together

  7. My dad is a car salesman. Insurance is not what they are looking at. They are looking at your credit score, and being a teenager i can imagine you dont have any credit. So, your parents have credit, and if its good credit then it will make paying for the car much easier, So unless you have credit, im almost positive you will need your parents to co-sign.

  8. if  ya can   do  it now  ya  know the  price  ya got to  pay when  ya get on the road  insurance and stuff

  9. If you aren't 18, you aren't buying your own new car.  Minors can not sign their signature to any legal documents.

If you meant used car for a few thousand dollars that is new to you, that's a better choice.

  10. i think its true if u pay with cash.

  11. i dunno. ask mom.
