Teen decorating ideas for room?

Question

im a 16 year old teen girl and my room is blue right now with clouds on it. but im tired of it and i want to change my whole room. i was thinking of pink for my walls and curtains but i dont know what color pink. then i was thinking of wood blinds. maybe a pink chair too? anyone have any ideas? pics would be great:) <<-- i was thinking about going to home depot and maybe target becuase they would be the cheapest. i live in norristown, pennylvania . anyone have any ideas about color or a place that would be cheap i could go to? thanks sooo much. ***10 points for BEST ANSWER!!!***

Behr Paint is sold by The Home Depot. They have a shade of pink called &quot;rose sorbet&quot; (# 150A-2) that&#039;s very nice. Not too loud so it will mature with you &amp; not look like a kid&#039;s room. Check it out:

Then you can some nice accents in brown and blue or green.

an awesome room for a teen. You can swap the colors, but it&#039;s Olive green walls with dark maroon circles and dark bamboo shades. it is SO nice!!!!

well pink and brown go great togather and add ssome bright blue it is aswome thats how my room is you might want to look at target coles walmart or at google typ in cool teen cumforters so cool

Pink is my favourite colour too!  I&#039;m 15 and I actually just went to Wal-Mart a couple days ago and they are going pink mania right and it&#039;s all pretty cheap...pink lamp, pink trash can, pink bed set...PINK RULES!!!!  If you are looking for something really unique for your walls I would actually suggest doing sponge painting. I did it with two different shades of pink (light and hot) and a deep purple. The best place to buy paint is home depot and BHEAR (I think I spelt that right not a 100% sure) is the best brand of paint.  Then making sure your floor is coverd just have fun on the walls!  My mom and I actually tested on the inside of closet before going for my wall but you don&#039;t have to do this.  If you want a uniquley shaped sponge try dollar tree, yes most of it is junk but they do have interesting shapes.    Sorry this got so long and I hope it helps!  GOD BLESS
