Teen girls how do you stay thin?

hi. im 16 and ive put on a lot of weight over the summer about 20-25 lbs! and i'd really like to lose it as quick as possible. what types of things should i eat? exercise routines? tips?

  1. run/ walk and diet. most girls have a fast metabolism which is why they are so skinny  


  2. becoming anorexic lol Idk just execise EAT healthy and I do crunches, and 45 min. on the eliptic or whatever it´s called lol.

  3. I'm on the cross country team; there's no way you stay out of shape after joining =] So you could join a sports team.

    Or just exercise. But it's really important to eat healthily. How to exercise? Well first realize that it's going to be hard and that you're going to have to work at it. A lot of people try to start exercising, but when it gets hard they end up quitting. I'm a runner, so I suggest you run for a couple of weeks. That gets me back into shape after a long summer =]

  5. I am very thin , my mom and my doctor both say its becouse i eat alot of tiny meals a day . I eat breakfast when i get up ussually a bowl of cerial , then i eat a 1/2 a granola bar inbetween classes, i eat a sandwitch then something else for luncg then i eat when i get home try salsa and chips or a fruit, after that i have some supper , then i have a small bowl of popcorn at 8 pm

    and this may sound crazy. But I own a Wii Fit and it def. Helps!

    I lost 2.6 lbs in one week not changing my diet or anything using that thing! it's amazing.

    of course I do teenagerish things like ride my bike and go for walks wich also helps.

    and I own a trampoline.

  7. I actually have a really good metabolism. I have intestinal issues so whenever I eat I get all satisfied and a couple hours later it's out of my system. I can really eat all I want yet I'm allergic to bread so that probably helps. Today I took a nice long run. No matter what I'm doing I always turn it into a workout ( I do crunches when I read books and stuff) Good luck just eat right and try to maybe take a bike ride or a run everyday. Good luck.

  9. Don't eat too much salt, sugar, or fried food. Avoid drinking soda. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.

  10. Your still young and somewhat still growing. My 16 year old niece who lives with us has lost 20lbs Since august 1st. She began eating Fruits & Veggies,cut out sugary drinks and switched to water, She joined the gym.

  11. Exercise daily...it doesn't have be some huge work out, just go for a walk or something.

    Eat healthy...choose fruit over chocolate, snacks etc.

    Always choose water over soda.

    That's all you really need to do! All you need is some motivation and will power.
