im 18 and my facial hair growth is not good (its because of my genetics i guess)

ive stopped shaving about a 2 weeks ago and my moustache and goatee are growing just fine but my cheeks are not getting enough growth, im getting a lot of hairs there but kinda scattered and some are thin and some are thick

should i wait till i get something like in the pic below?

i mean, its not getting any fuller than that

i also find it a bit embarrassing at this point. what do you think?

AND: should i shape it a bit while growing?

  1. Until you have enough facial hair to be able to form it properly your best bet is to be clean shaving if it is to come later then go for it . I think trying to have something that just is not there makes you look so much more immature.

  2. if it look s like that ur lucky

  3. You should have used another picture, at least in my opinion.

But yeah shape it up a bit I guess, to keep it from looking scraggly or sloppy.

  4. Sometimes it takes a while to grow in. I'm 26, had light peach fuzz on upper lip from around 15-17 years old, some darker hairs on upper lip at 18/19, then started getting it more at 20/21

  5. its just it genetics, but if embarising shave it

  6. shave every day, every time you shave it grows back even more than before
