that is sad when chrildren are not even safe from men like that at church!!!  even tough she wanted to shes 16!!! he should know better hes a petafile!!!

My advice would be put his A$$ in jail where he belongs!!!

This is supposed to be a man you can trust but hes banging kids in the church!!!! I would like to get my hands on Pastor RON!

It is statutory rape and he used her and abused his position as pastor. He should be shamed in front of his family and church or at the very least the church council/deacons/elders should be notified and he should be out of the individual church and the church as a whole.

Now...she is old enough to know that sleeping with a married man is wrong and she should have closed her legs but in this case I think she did idealize the pastor for his position and he had more influence over her then say the banker who lived next door would have.

She may even have thought ``As a Christian girl I know it is a sin for me to have s*x with anyone -- a married man goes without saying but if Pastor Dan wants me then it must be okay.``  Because teenage minds are not fully developed and they will do what they can to see a situation in the light they want to see it.

So...yes she was wrong; but he is a sick b*****d.

This is so sad and disgusting but I think he should be dealt with more thoroughly than the s*x offender Catholic priests (because the Catholic Church except in rare cases has not sufficiently dealt with those guys).

Since it is a non-denominational church I do not know if there is any hierarchy to deal with him like there would be in Catholic; Lutheran; Methodist; etc. but I feel they -- the larger church organization if any -- should also be helping to support this girl and her baby.  In this case -- though she should in no way be forced -- I think giving up the baby in a closed adoption would be for the best -- and NOT to the pastor and his wife (who may well stay with him because often they do and write off the other woman as a s**t) either.

It is truly upsetting when the most sacred of places turns out to be not sacred at all. The place your supposed to feel the most safe, wanted, and the most trusting towards is just like the rest of the world. This man should be put in jail. Teenagers feel and give everything they have into things...He took advantage of her and her feelings and he should pay. Your pastor should be the one person you can go to. Now there having s*x with teenagers and impregnating them...it is truly sick.

The girl needs to tell her parents and  take responsibility for HER actions.

Also why is her parents allowing her to meet her opastor alone that late on a monday night?Sure there is going to be shame because what she did was s***w a married man and got pregnant which IS shameful.There is NO way to avoid that.

The pastor needs to go to jail for a long time for his actions were MORE shameful, he being 48, knowing better and being a hypocrite to his congregation.When we do wrong, others sometime suffer.

The pastor should be excommunicated and sent to jail!  In many states, she isn't old enough to give consent.
