Teen help guys and girls?

Um hi I'm T.S. and I'm 15 years old so i need help. My best friend has moved to USA and I'm worriedand school starts in few days, so here's my story:

When he was in my class I kinda stayed just with him, and now I don't know what to do, also in my class is the most popular guy in school, he knows me but we are not friends. How can I become friend with him and his friends they are popular and I'm not popular neither a nerd or looser, I'm not over weighted, I don't have acne and stuff like than, and I also wear cool clothes. Any good ideas or tips.

when i am in school and want to tlk to hot guys in my classes who i dont know i always go up to them and say hi and then say wht is ur name and then ask some questions and finally ask him if i can have his number it wrks. got turned down once and just said ok i dont really want it anways and then walk away proud maybe try tht
