Teen mums on here answer my question please?

Question

Im 17,18 in a month, and 5mnths pregnant.And single.

I had plans to do a diploma next year but will have to put that on hold for now. Any teen mums on here? I would like to know how you have coped etc. How your lived changed and if you got a qualification after the birth of your child?

I was pregnant at 17 and had my son at 18, however I was not single. I got my diploma and we have been married for six years with another child and another on the way. I am going back to college this January (finally.) Just finish school and try to go to college if you can. If you have parents that you can live with that helps a lot. Make sure you finish school so that you can provide the best for your child. Best of luck

I'm not know girl but i can help you, since you single and everything you gotta be strong for everything that you wanna do, don't let it stop you its just a set back to one of many problems you go, go threw in life when you have the baby you should look into probably a adult education school you can still get a diploma of g.e.d in no time its really good for teen moms or kids that have fall behind in school. and after that you can get a high grade point average and apply for a college and get in real easy its not a bad idea but whatever you wanna do just hit me up at [e-mail] email me whenever but good luck on everything and everything will be alright.

I was 16 when I got pregnant and 17 when I had my son, he is three now. I actually had him on the 3rd day of my sr year. I completed out my year and graduated at sem. There is wonderful help out there for you. Every state is different, talk to you counselor, they can put you with a parents as teachers program, and go to your local division of family support. There they will help you with food stamps, child care, and insurance. You can get some wonderful help. Just hang in there and keep you chin up.
