  1. I too need to lose weight (im a teenager). An adult female needs to eat NO LESS than 1200 calories daily (you determine how you're going to arrange that throughout the day). In order to loose weight you should have a calorie deficit daily. In other words, if you burn 2200 calories in a day and you eat 1200 calories, then that's an 1000 calorie deficit daily. That means that you would lose about 2 pounds per week. With your height and weight, losing 30 lbs is too much. You'll end up being underweight. Try aiming for no less than 115 lbs (you'll be at a healthy weight with your height). That means you'll need to lose about 17 pounds, which you can loose in a little over 2 months. Go to www.calorie-count.com

They have a forum there where you can ask food, fitness, weight loss etc questions (most people there are trying to lose weight the healthy way). You can also look up most foods and find out how many calories they have and using your weight, age, and height you can determine how many calories you burn doing different activities. good luck!
